Most of my grandparents are still alive and the ones that aren’t I have never met or was too young to remember.
The person I will talk about is my oldest brother. I don’t have as many memories as I would like to have had with him but there are some that I will never forget! My brother moved to Washington for about a year and it was a really long time to be without him, since I saw him almost every day! I remember the day he came back because it was the BEST surprise anyone could ask for! I was a beautiful spring day and I could finally be outside playing with my friends. I went rollerblading all around town that day. When I arrived home, I took off my rollerblades in the entry way and put them away in the closet. I turned the corner to walk into the living room and there was my big brother sitting on the couch waiting for me. His brown hair was longer then I remembered and he was wearing his favorite Queen shirt. I ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug. He had a present for me, it was a ring, silver with 4 green diamond shapes gems in it. He had one that was just like it and he got me one so we would have matching rings.
My parents were divorced so I had to go back and forth and I took that ring with me everywhere. As I started to get older, I didn’t wear it as much and one day I went to look for it. I remember walking into my room and going my dresser. I had a jewelry box that had 2 doors the opened up with a pink rose painted on it. I opened the doors to get the ring and it wasn’t in there. I searched my whole room and I couldn’t find it anywhere! To this day I still can’t find the ring but I will always remember what it looked like and know what it means to me.
