Facebook

I can’t stand Facebook but at the same time I still have one! It is so nice to be able to stay in contact with friends and family that you don’t get to see. I love looking at all the pictures of their kids growing up and how fast time flies by! But then you always have those people that know how to ruin a good thing. The people who think Facebook is to brag about how many friends you can have or they think that every is their counselor and wants to hear about all of their problems. Some people post pictures of them practically naked and they think they are “hot”! It is also just another way to that people can start drama with people. Even if they are good friends outside of Facebook, it still can create drama between them. Facebook was a really good idea for networking but there are some people who don’t realize what is should actually be used for.  

When I was reading the writing suggestions about writing a blog, I kind of started to laugh. It asks how you would react to your parents asking to be your friend in cyberspace. I actually have my step mom as a friend on Facebook and she shows my dad everything that I post. I don’t mind at all if my parents see what I put on Facebook. This way they can see what I am up to and what I do on my spare time. But if I was one of the people who don’t think/care about what I post I would never let my parents be my friends on there!
